Cam Mechanism

The redesigned cam reduces free lever stroke while keeping a consistent feel and modulation in the braking zone. This provides a firmer bite point with a smooth, progressive build of power for better control.

Piston Movement

A roller bearing main pivot, paired with a sliding guide bush, ensures smooth piston operation. An additional guide bush keeps the piston perfectly aligned, delivering consistent and friction-free lever travel.

Bleeding

A convenient bleed port on the master cylinder allows servicing without removing the lid, making the process quicker and easier. The internal layout has been updated to prevent trapped air and provide a more reliable, consistent bleed every time.

Caliper Desigh

Machined from a single piece for maximum stiffness and reduced weight, the GR4 caliper houses four hybrid pistons that deliver smooth movement and effective heat control. Larger piston sizes boost power output by about 6% compared to the Tech 4 V4 system, while the reinforced body improves lever feel and control. A revised bore cap design makes the caliper slimmer for improved frame clearance, though it is not compatible with vented rotors.
