Monotube shocks are simpler and more durable, but designing for 4-way adjustability was a challenge. We not only achieved high/low speed compression and high/low speed rebound adjust, we utilized pressure balancing for even more sensitivity and support.

FOX designed the new FLOAT X2 with an oversized air chamber and low-friction air seals to deliver the linear, planted feel gravity riders crave—without the weight penalty. Air volume can be fine-tuned in 1cc increments, giving you ultra-precise control over spring rate and ride feel.
