Ride to Resilience - Calgary Movie Premiere on May 8th!

We are pleased to be co-hosting Steve's new film along with our friends from Big Hill Cycle, Rebound Cycle, and Project All In!

Ride to Resilience is a powerful feature-length documentary that dives into the unseen mental battles faced by first responders, athletes, and everyday people who are expected to carry it all.

Following firefighter and mountain biker Steve Vanderhoek, the film traces a 2-year journey shaped by trauma, loss, and healing, both on the trail and off. The story explores how depression and PTSD can quietly build beneath a capable exterior, and how connection, vulnerability, peer support and community can become lifelines.

A portion of the funds raised from the movie ticket sales and corresponding silent auction are going to support Ride to Resilience and Redwood Meadows Emergency Services. The silent auction has some great products and services generously donated to further raise funds for these causes.

If you aren't familiar with Redwood Meadows Emergency Services, these are the folks who help us when we need it most out at Moose Mountain, Bragg Creek and surrounding areas. This past winter, they experienced a devastating fire that severely affected their operations. The fire destroyed an entire building containing four engines, training equipment, essential tools, and more. As a community that benefits from their extremely important services, we need to help them now in return.

See you on Friday, May 8th, at Canyon Meadows Cinema!
