Cycles Devinci
Chicoutimi, Quebec (Est. 1990)
From their humble roots, to downhill World Cup wins with Stevie. Devinci began as a university engineering project and exploded into the world-class, manufactured-in-Canada powerhouse that it is today. With a huge range of bike offerings, we handpick our favourite mountain bikes from them, including absolute machines from the Troy and Chainsaw lineups. Some of The Inside Line crew were able to tour the factory in Quebec last fall for the Devinci Summit, and had a great time seeing the fabrication process up close and personally.
Vorsprung Suspension
Whistler/Kamloops, British Columbia (Est. 2012)
Designed, tested and manufactured right in British Columbia’s backyard since 2012. Vorsprung first put down roots in Whistler as a suspension tuning and service shop before branching into manufacturing and eventually making the move to Kamloops. Best known around our shop as the creators of our favourite coil shock, the Telum, they have expanded their lineup to include other heavy hitter products, including the Luftkappe, Smashpot, and Secus.
OneUp Components
Squamish, British Columbia (Est. 2013)
OneUp exists thanks to a few riding friends who just happened to be engineers and fellow bike nerds. These friends wanted to upgrade the ratio of their 10-speed drivetrains to something comparable to the new 11-speed systems, without having to sell a kidney. The 42T Expander Sprocket was born out of that idea, and not long after OneUp Components was created to provide similarly high quality, well thought out bike parts at an affordable price point. Their ethos of "by riders for riders" has stayed the same all these years later, and their HQ in Squamish is filled with absolute shredders!
Forbidden Bike Company
Cumberland, British Columbia (Est. 2018)
Have you ever had a hankering to ride a specific bike just to be disappointed to find out that it doesn't exist? It happens to the best of us, but the good people who founded Forbidden took the next step and made one out of thin air. The Druid was the first trail bike to include the high-pivot witchcraft that's taking the bike world and spinning it on its head. The whole range of their bikes include high-pivot drivetrain systems, meticulously refined kinematics, plus seriously sweet paint jobs. If the Druid doesn't tickle your itch, they also have its bigger siblings the Dreadnought and Supernought, and have recently released full-power eMTBs to round things out.
7Mesh

Want some of the best riding apparel around? Look no further. Especially known for their technical and waterproofing fabrics, 7Mesh was born out of necessity for riding gear that keeps you dry — they're from one of the wettest places in Canada, after all. The team started out of Arc'teryx, until they noticed a distinct lack of high-performance cycling apparel that was burly enough to handle north shore weather. As the first company to create a Gore-Tex cycling jacket, they now have an expanded lineup that includes road, gravel and mountain bike fits, with tons of selection for women as well. 7Mesh even has crash replacement and repair programs to keep you riding comfortably.
Chromag Bikes
Whistler, British Columbia (Est. 2003)
The iconic Whistler brand started when Ian Ritz set out to build a steel hardtail that wasn’t available anywhere else. The frames were first welded locally, but as demand grew, they now have select production in Taiwan. Many of their small parts are still CNC’d in the heart of Whistler. While known for their steel hardtail mountain bikes, like the Rootdown or the Monk Dirt Jumper, they’ve also released steel full-suspension bikes like the Lowdown, Darco and the pint-sized Minor Threat for the kids. Some styles even come in Titanium, if you really want a standout piece.
We Are One Composites
Kamloops, British Columbia (Est. 2017)
We all know that Kamloops is the birthplace of modern freeriding, but it’s also the birthplace of We Are One Composites. Heavyweights when it comes to carbon component manufacturing in Canada, We Are One is synonymous with quality. All of their products go from the design process to hand-made, all under one roof, including machining their own aluminum moulds for the carbon fibre lay-up process. Their enduro-focused Convergence wheel is one of our best sellers and comes with a lifetime warranty for any trail "oopsies" that you may encounter.
North Shore Billet

Canadian-made CNC’d bike parts are North Shore Billet's jam, and we’re pretty big fans. They’ve been slinging high-quality small parts since the early aughts, moving from North Vancouver to their new home base: the bustling bike metropolis of Whistler. From hangers and chainrings, to their newer pedals and complete cranksets, NSB is our go-to when you want to make any small adjustments to your bike that will create a big impact.
Title MTB
Kelowna, British Columbia (Est. 2020)
What began as a passion project by Canadian slopestyle rider Brett Rheeder, who wanted access to durable parts for his riding, morphed into a brand known for premium parts outfitted on dirt jump and mountain bikes the world over. Although Brett has moved on from the company, Title MTB is still repping the same quality and thoughtfully designed components in an array of interesting colourways. Some notable favourites include their handlebars, stems, G1 gyro system, and small parts to match.
Akta MTB
Vancouver, British Columbia (Est. 2022)
A more recent addition at the shop, Akta has quickly become a standout amongst staff and customers for their comfortable apparel, especially their knee pads. Shop groms agree that these are the best knee pads when it comes to comfort, protection and pedal-ability. We also really love their waterproof trail vest — it's perfect for layering without making you too warm while riding. Akta is known for prioritizing recycled materials in their pieces, and the brand is based out of Vancouver, so they have plenty of local trails to ride for gear testing.
